たしなむ程度とは？

ほんとうに「たしなむ程度」しか酒が飲めないお嬢様は、「飲めません」と言うので、「たしなむ程度です」などと、不敵なほほえみを浮かべながら口走る女性については、「こいつは底なしなんだな」と、酒をすすめた男のほうも承知していて、財布の中身と相談しながら安い焼酎のボトルを一本あてがったりするのである。

うーん。

私は、柔道部に所属していたので、上下関係の意識が身についています。最近の若い人たちは、上下の関係に慣れていない人が多くなったなと感じますね。
